About us
Bordeaux Consortium for Regenerative Medicine (BxCRM) brings together academic research teams, clinics, technology platforms, transfer and industrial structures whose objectives are to develop multidisciplinary research in the field of tissue regeneration applied to health.
The project of the Bordeaux Consortium for Regenerative Medicine was initiated from :
- The integrated programs developed by the laboratories from two Research Federative Structures i) Technology for Health, ii) Fundamental and Applied Biology in Medicine.
- The Journal club actions on "Stem Cells" existing in Bordeaux since 2010.
- Parterns of the two clusters of excellence dedicated to i) Advanced Materials and Design and ii) Translational Research and Advanced Imaging Laboratories. These structures combined scientific activities, from fundamental research to clinical development relevant to regenerative medicine.
These research units of the University of Bordeaux ensure a continuum of research, from fundamental research to clinical development relevant to regenerative medicine, in close interaction with the three departments of the University of Bordeaux that are more specially oriented as “Health”, “Technological Sciences” and “Public Health”.
The BxCRM is one of the Transversal Thematic Actions supported by the University of Bordeaux in the field of Regenerative Medicine that emerges in 2015.
